Holiday in between the exams

It's finally SPM! *OMG* Well technically it has been like 4 days of  hell already... :'( But then there's a 10 day break in between and no one complains about being given a holiday so...yay! But what's a holiday when you're sick *on the first day of SPM no less* and gotta do revision the whole day? So yeah I'm as stuck at home as my nose... *saw what I did there? :)*

First, let me rant about my exam... You know every year there will be some sort of prediction of what type of questions will be given in the exams. I thought the peeps who predicted this sort of stuff would actually get them correct because they'll predict so much that you'll just give up and read the whole damn book! :P But surprisingly enough they got most predictions wrong this year, so kids, don't ever trust predictions kay! I have not much words to say type about all my exam papers because I totally suck at answering them so let's just move on and forget about the past... *hard to do when it keeps haunting you but yeah* My last paper had me writing non stop for 3 hours and I killed a pen *just used up all of its ink, I'm not a murderer :P* and I'd found out that it is humanly possible to write non stop for 3 hours without breaking your hand (evidently I'm still typing proves that its not broken lol :))

So enough about the exams for now, I'm gonna talk about the normal stuff... What did yours truly do after the exams because of a one week break?  I ate a kitkat because of the saying: Have a break, have a kitkat. *wait what?* (Rewinding tape) *cue weird tape rewinding sounds* Well for starters, I haven't picked up a pencil yet *but I will after typing this post* because I tried writing and it hurts so I'm not going to, and its a good reason not to do any exercises yet :) Then I watched the television for like 3 whole hours *guilty not guilty* Don't blame me! Blame the Fox channel for premiering NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans yesterday... and also an episode of Criminal Minds *albeit and old one but still* Technically the only thing I've remotely done as a revision in the past 24 hours was reading a Physics book.

Posting after 2 months of activity, not a good idea because nothing interesting was going on in that time frame so... Stay healthy and happy guys! And those having exams, good luck and may the odds be ever in your favour... unless if the question asks you to predict what will happen in the future then... Good luck being a fortune teller :) *SPMers 2015 would probably get this reference* ;)

Now excuse me while I go and blow my nose before everything flows out :P

Freedom? Maybe not...

OMG! Finally my trials are over... 3 agonizing weeks of exams for 10 subjects, it's a little long isn't it? Oh well, I'm glad it's over, but is it really? SPM is in like a month and a half, so maybe not freedom just yet, but I'd say it's a temporary freedom yeah?

I practically did nothing in school yesterday except for chatting, eating, chatting, a little bit of class, chatting, a DAMN INJECTION!, and chatting. Oh and did I mention chatting? Yeah that's basically it I'd say. I was deprived of talking with my friends for like 3 weeks so we talked like just about everything under the sun yesterday...and one whole day of talking is still not enough yet,,,AT ALL!

Let's talk about that injection... It's for tuberculosis because someone in my class was suspected of having it and ALL of us had to get injected. I, for one, hate needles, hence I despise injections too. But you've got to do what you've gotta do right? Got injected *I almost fainted but didn't, thank God* *phobia against needles* *damn you needles* *why do those things exist anyway?* *Ingesting a pill is sooo much easier* According to my friend, when injected, one could actually see the fluid running in one's veins *or arteries* *no clue which one* but I hate needles so naturally I didn't look. Anyway it wasn't that painful but there's a red spot left behind...

My teachers got injected too...and it was fun seeing them get injected. *I finally found out what my teacher is afraid of!!* *Now I have to find a volunteer to chase that teacher around school with a needle in her hand* *Her worst nightmare would come true* *I'm an evil bugger*

Unfortunately for the students, like me, in an important exam year, teachers would wanna drill you with loads of exercises to prepare for the exams...so I have another exam on Monday. And it's Add Maths, out of all things... So after about 2 days, I've gotta revise again. And I've homework already, like it's just after exam, can't you people let us chill for at least a few days first???

Conclusion is I watched a movie yesterday and had loads of fun, well my version of fun is to be allowed to watch tv as long I want without getting lectured, learnt how to play a song *well struggled to learn that song would be more exact*, tweeting, scrolling through my insta newsfeed, watching more tv AANNNDD THEN! I've gotta revise today. So technically I'm typing this entry with an Add Maths book staring at my face in the corner. (It's mocking me right now. Like why don't you wanna do my questions?? Come on, I'm not that hard...) Face it Add Maths is hard *for me* :P

P.S. At least I'd get to choose what to eat for lunch later... Grilled chicken set I'm looking at you :P

10 subjects, 10 reasons...

As like any other student, I go to school, attend classes and also take exams. And also like any other student, I naturally tend to HATE *dislike* some subjects. Well, most subjects... Fine, almost every subject... :P I take 10 subjects and this year is an important exam year. I even have an exam next week... *student life*

So before the exams, I'd like to say a few things about every subject that I'll be taking...

1. The national language. More like alien language to me... (Not that I'm insulting the national language, no. National language is very important, it's my country's identity, it's good for patriotisme, yada yada yada... You'll get it, yeah?) Can't say much about this subject except it's like impossible to get high marks. Like UGH!! *stupid idioms and whatnot that I have to memorise*

2. English. My favourite paper, I think, out of all the subjects that I'm taking, I just don't like writing about the novel... and checking my grammar... and answering the questions... or even writing a lot. (LOL! I must sound very lazy!!)

3. History. All I have to say about this paper is WHAT THE FRAK?? There's always gonna be a ton of facts and they're impossible to memorise. I don't get why we have to take an exam for this paper... Ain't it just wasting our brain capacity memorising events that already happened and all those silly mistakes the older generation had done years ago and strive for a better tomorrow? (This has started to sound a little philosophical...)

4. Mathematics. Number one: I'm not a big fan of numbers. Although, I do like money. Second, mental calculations aren't my forte. I depend on my calculator a lot. Therefore, there's a logical reason why I don't really like Maths. Maths is okay if it's like 1+1=2, but when it becomes 1+1=10 then, yeah, Maths becomes a problem... (But weirdly enough, my marks are okay for this subject)

5. Additional mathematics. This subject is like handing you a shovel and digging up your own grave. For someone who doesn't fancy maths, you could see why add maths will be the death of me. Maths is bearable with numbers, but the moment you add letters in...it's a whole different ball game. To keep things short, me and add maths aren't very good friends... It's more of a love-hate relationship...

6. Chemistry. In my opinion, it's the least hard subject of the 3 sciences... partially because my teacher drills us on questions more than an army sergeant drills his team. Can't comment much about this subject or I'll have to kill you... or my teacher will get to me first... :P

7. Physics. The middle kid of mother Science. It's not as hard as Biology but harder than Chemistry... But I don't get why we must learn something that doesn't exist... well it exists but I can't see it anywhere. :P And all those formulaes... Application questions are the hardest. Good news is I can tie it back to my daily life. Bad news, I have no freaking idea how to write and explain it in words... and application questions are the majority of the questions asked, so I'm basically screwed... :)

8. Biology. This is like history but a little more sciency and in English. There are so many facts to memorise and *sigh* The only interesting subject is reproduction *acts innocent* so yeah... Loads to memorise and loads to write.

9. Accounts. All about the cha--ching. But get the formulae wrong and you might end up crying over a few dollars. Tons of different accounts and different formats. I finally found out that accounts is not all 'money goes in' and 'money goes out' anymore...

10. Moral. This subject is all about general knowledge...and my general knowledge is freaking terrible... So enough said. LOL!

My long short rant about the subjects I take... Not very interesting or funny, because it's near the exams and I just feel like ranting *heehee* Will do better next time I hope... Good luck for anyone who'll be having exams! :)

5 things I do *literally* before the exams

Exams are tough... No one likes them, (Well maybe some *crazy* people who just LOOOVEESS EXAMS) LOL! Especially when the subject is extra hard and it seems like the teachers just want you to do bad in your exams... *I'm looking at you, history paper...and add maths paper... :P

Of course the things I do before the exams is prepare for the exams itself. It includes revising, exercises... Pretty much it, ain't I right? 0.o

So, things I do before the exams are:

1. Reading my reference book while walking out from the classroom even though the teacher tells us to stop reading and get our asses into class for the exam because we were already damn late for it...

2. Taking out all my necessities - Pens, pencils, rulers, erasers... Fine, STATIONARY! out from my pencil box and staring at them for 5 seconds thinking of what I might have missed *even though most of the time the entire content of my pencil box is already on the table and there's nothing I would've missed* and also even to the extent of asking my friends whether I forgot to bring anything ti the exam hall... :P

3. Wishing everyone 'Good Luck!' especially if the paper is going to be a killer because trust me, you're gonna need all the help you can get if it is...

4. Opening the paper for the first time, checking the exam paper for any mistakes in printing... (I actually check more than once even though everything is fine. I'm a paranoid, I know...) and also thinking "I'm so dead" if the first question is a hard one...

5. Pray. Very. Hard. The harder the paper I had to sit, the longer the prayer. And it could range from "I  hope I can get an A+ this time" to "Help me please God because I know I haven't read enough for this exam so could you please just give me the answers this time and I promise I'll study hard for the next exam" :P

Yeah that's about it, and it happens during every exam, and every paper too... It's like a weird routine... LOL! *anyone goes through the same routine as I do too??* 0.o

Anyone reads fanfictions? 0.o

A fandom is sort of like a community that revolves around a television show or movie or a book... And of course fanfictions are part of that fandom, along with fan art, cosplayers etc.

FYI fanfictions are just stories that writers write (that are mostly non-canon) using the characters they like from a show/movie/book they love.

I'm part of a few fandoms, namely, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Agents of Shield... I can't list down all, there's too much LOL! *I'm a TV addict* :P I found out about fanfictions like 2 years ago and boy do I think I missed out a lot when I didn't know anything about it...

I started off with Doctor Who fanfictions... Originally I shipped the Doctor (11th) and Clara, so I read A LOT of fanfiction then... I prefer fluffy ones, sometimes angst, but I avoid the explicit ones... (But one does come across them sometimes because they're not labelled) And then I read Sherlock fanfiction. I think no one can beat the Sherlock fanfic writers. THEY'RE TOO GOOD!! Their unique way of writing and thick plot lines made me wonder whether they were actual script writers... Seriously thumbs up for the good work! (BTW I ship Sherlolly...)

Agents of Shield fanfics are mostly fluff (YAY!) so I've mostly read every single one... Seems like I have a lot of time on my hands but I don't actually...

Tumblr has this fanfic challenge every few weeks and I'm an avid follower. (If my Internet doesn't fail me of course...) So hopefully they'll continue to write awesome fanfics for my entertainment...

P.S. Fanfic writers are so good at writing that sometimes I just wanna ask them to write my essays for me... Like could you guys possibly take my English exam for me?! Pretty please? *puppy eyes* :)

Student life maybe? :)

Can anyone agree with me that a life of a student is the best time of your life? But as a student, you may think that it's very boring and it's the same damn routine everyday like - wake up, school, tuition, homework, revision, sleep. That's it mostly...

Worse still it's SPM year this year, and everyone knows that means endless hours of studying, and endless cups of caffeine... It's July already and the pressure is ON!! Working extra hard, getting good grades, getting a good course...you know how it works... But it's also the best year too! Meaning - we'll be the eldest kids in school! So, that means you'll get to scare the juniors and get them to do all *or almost all* the work! Most fun things happen at the last year of secondary school too, weirdly as it is...

Hmm... last year of secondary school... Makes me feel old. 5 months to go in school. 5 more months to see my teachers. 5 more months walking through the halls in school. 5 more months of meeting your friends almost everyday. 5 more months of... a lot of things...

As the saying goes, time flies when you're having fun...or if you're in an important exam year. *LOL!* It felt just like yesterday when the year began... and it's already July. *Sigh*

So for me, my day would be like - school, extra class, revision, tuition, revision, sleep... and of course food somewhere in between 'cus how on earth could you possibly skip meals? Like food is like the best gift ever, how could you not eat?? (I'm always hungry though... maybe that's why I'm never in good shape LOL!)

I'm tired... I wanna sleep LOL! *Must be because I woke up at 7* *7 is early right?* Hahaha!! Until the next time... :P
